As you can see my world is quite an antiquated one. That is perhaps because I still like to hold on to 'some' traditional values.
As you can also see, my world is not so spotless either. That is because I believe that spring cleaning should be done only in spring- not in summer, winter, autumn or monsoons or any other day of the year. After all a house should feel like a home where everyone can relax- even an occasional spider ;-}
In any case I don't much care for the attitude of people who keep the insides of their homes spotlessly clean but care two hoots about littering Mother Earth. Charity can begin at home but cleanliness is godliness and this drive can only be achieved by keeping your environs clean. Let us strive together in this endeavour to leave a better world for our kids to inhabit.
My world is not so lonely, not so dark and not so deep either. And yet I have promises to keep. To my family. To my readers. And to my beliefs!
I owe it to my parents to carry on the legacy of their undisguised and unfettered service to mankind.
I owe it to my readers to change my thoughts into words; the words into sentences; the sentences into paragraphs; the paragraphs into pages and the pages into books.
As for my beliefs- well, I am an avid follower of the Father of our Nation, the Mahatma. And since change is, was and always will be permanent, in this journey of life, until I sleep, I will continue with the daunting task of trying to be the change I want to see.
None can estimate the power of the written word. For it is only through words that thoughts are churned out from the windmills of the mind. It is through these tiny droplets that writers have created mighty oceans for readers to navigate. It is through these tiny grains that vast desert lands have been shaped for self discovery. It is through these emotional tools that many a heart has been unburdened, broken or fixed. And perhaps it is the only existing weapon that has succeeded in battling Time. Therefore where is a world, there will always be words. Once again I welcome you to mine, dear friends. And however silent or 'loud' it may seem, I do hope you enjoy your way around.......:-}
